2007 Annual General Meeting

Our 2007 Annual General Meeting, held on Tuesday June 5th, marked the 21st Annual General meeting of the North York Harvest Food Bank.   The evening was marked by an excellent turnout of our member agencies, volunteers, board members and donors. The photos and accompanying captions below capture some of the highlights of what turned out to be a very rewarding evening.

The Chairman of our Board of Directors, Morley Katz, welcomes our members and guests assembled for our 21st Annual General Meeting.

Food Bank Treasurer Chris Hilborn and Accountant Reema Chheda present the latest audited financial statements.

Food Bank staff Mary Del Bianco (L) and Gloria Baldwin (C) present volunteer and monthly donor, Joseph Phillip a little raffle prize.

Food Bank staff put together some food and refreshments for our guests to be served during a brief intermission in the evening's activities.

Our Executive Director, Loren Freid, highlights the activities and operations from the past year, in his address to the participants.

We had an excellent turnout with over 60 people representing a diverse grouping of valued stakeholders in our organization

Food Bank Manager of Volunteer Services, Lisa Anderson presents Chester Noel a volunteer appreciation award for his dedicated service to the Food Bank.

The evening's keynote address was delivered by Rick Eagan, the Community Development Coordinator of St. Christopher House. Rick's discussion was entitled "A Decent Living for All"
