When you support the North York Harvest Food Bank, you are really making a contribution to the nearly 40 other agencies that depend upon us for their food and other necessary products. This includes women's shelters, youth shelters, breakfast clubs, immigrant programs and emergency hamper food programs. For a complete list of our member agencies go here. The Food Bank has an enviable efficiency record, spending the majority of its expenses on the collection, distribution, warehousing and trucking of food and on the special programs that we offer in a variety of areas. The extensive information we make available about ourselves and our operations testifies to the openness and accountability that we feel is such an integral part of the culture of our organization. If you would like to see how your money is put into action drop by the North York Harvest Food Bank, at any time during regular business hours, and one of our staff will be more than happy to give you a tour of our premises and answer any questions that you may have.
